Obama picked the right man to serve as his role model. I take such pleasure in knowing that these words are Lincoln’s himself, and not some speech writer he plucked from the nation’s streets.  As I read the quote, I am trying to figure out how I can apply it to my own life: the stormy present. Check! Piled high with difficulty. Check! Quiet past?  Uh…  Rise to the occasion?  Hmm…
